Some more games and coming changes!
So I got to play three more games, and I was anihilated.
Pod 1 was against Lazav, Dimir Mastermind clones, Estrid, the Masked and Siona, Captain of the Pyleas. We decided to quit after the Lazav player got like 8 copies of Rampaging Baloths, which he made me manifest with a removal spell on my commander.
Pod two was Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, The Ur-Dragon and once again Siona. The Siona player comboed off on turn four and killed all of of on turn five. Again, I could get Goreclaw to stick.
Pod three were the same Unesh and Ur-Dragon decks and a Marisi, Breaker of the Coil who started his turn one with Land into Serra Ascendant. He rapidly got to 60-ish life. I was the first to get killed after Unesh dropped something big that took a permanent from each player, taking an Atarka, World Render, the Ascendant and my commander.
What did these games have in common? Well, I obviosly was too slow. I'll add more ramp to the deck, maybe even some dorks, so I'm a little less reliant on Goreclaw. I'll definitely add a wrath (Ezuri's Predation seems fitting).
What more? I was able to trade for many cards again. For this deck, I got Ghalta the Primal Hunger, Thorn Mammoth, Lifecrafter's Bestiary, Vivien, Champion of the Wilds and Impervious Greatwurm. With all these new cards and the ramp I want to add, the deck will go through some big changes in the days to come.
