Unlike most commander decks, my theme/tribal decks come with a deckbuilding challenge

Every card in the deck include the tribe on the Name, Type, Text, Flavor text, or Art.

Additionally cards that could have the Tribe written on it are permitted.

Lastly, Legendary creatures within the deck will allow me to play cards with their name on it.

PSA: Combos that result in infinite Dragon ETB's can be paired with a plethora of cards, some that give card advantage, others win the game, It's up to you which cards you wish to synergize the combos with.


Results: Eliminate one player

Requires Moltensteel Dragon and Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon in the library.

Costs an additional if we need Scion of the Ur-Dragon to get haste.

Use Scion of the Ur-Dragon's ability for , hold priority and use it again for .

On the first resolution entomb Moltensteel Dargon, and pay symbol:rpsymbol:rpsymbol:rpsymbol:rpsymbol:rpsymbol:rp to give it +6/+0.

Resolve the initial activated ability to entomb Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, use if we need to give it haste.

Swing at the player we like the least and eliminate them with 10 poison counters.


Results: Infinite combats, infinite treasures

Swing with Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone paying on the attack trigger.

Deal atleast 7 damage to create 7 treasures and repeat the process on the next combat phase.

If we are using Ancient Copper Dragon we need only it to hit, and then roll a DC Mana saving throw equal to 7, you modifier to this roll is the amount of mana you still have available.


Results: Infinite Dragon ETB's, Infinite 3/3 Flying Dragon Oblivion Orb Tokens

Have an innocent Oblivion Orb on the battlefield.

Play Astral Dragon, Target the Oblivion Orb to create two 3/3 Flying Dragon Token copies of it.

The First token will target the Second token.

The Second Token will target Astral Dragon

Resolve the Second one exiling our dragon, then resolve the first one exiling the second token, which will bring back our dragon. The last two tokens can exile two different nonland permanents.


Results: Two Infinite flying Dragons, a scalelord and a cooler scalelord

Have a Enduring Scalelord on the battlefield.

Play Moritte of the Frost, To come in as a Snow Legendary version of Enduring Scalelord with two +1/+1 counters.

Enduring Scalelord will trigger from jealousy and get a +1/+1 counter.

the cooler Enduring Scalelord will follow in suite and get a +1/+1 counter.

The trigger is a may so they stop being triggered when they feel ready.

Kiki Jiki will always result in no permanents left except for your original Worldgorger, so have something that wins the game.

Have a Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm on the battlefield.

Play Worldgorger Dragon, Triggering it's ETB and Miirym, Sentinel Wyrms ETB, Hold Priority, symbol:tap any permanent you control for the effects you wish.

Let the first ETB resolve to create a token of our Dragon, which will trigger it's ETB, exiling all other permanents we control including our Worldgorger Dragon which triggers it's LTB effect doing nothing, then resolve the initial ETB of Wolrdgorger Dragon exiling our token dragon, triggering it's LTB, bringing everything back. Rinse and Repeat, Switch the trigger to exile all other permanents first, then create the copy to bring everything back

Card's are interchangeable, having more than one of the damaging cards will win you the game, You will need another Dragon to combo with Changeling Hero unless you use Terror of the Peaks, you will need another 4 dragons to combo with Changeling Titan unless you use Terror of the Peaks, you can also win if you play the Changeling by following combo 10.

Activate Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker's symbol:tap ability to create a token copy of Changeling Berserker, The token will trigger Scourge of Valakut and It's Champion ETB.

Champion Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, then deal enough damage to kill the token changeling, triggering it's LTB. Rinse and Repeat.

Card's are interchangeable

PlayChangeling Berserker, The token will triggering it's Champion ETB and Molten Echoes.

Create a token copy of the Changeling, Triggering It's Champion ETB

Champion the Original Changeling Berserker and resolve it's Champion ETB on the token Changeling.

Rinse and repeat.

Card's are interchangeable, setup only changes when the card is played, Morritte of the frost is played after Bladewing the Risen & Reflections of Littjara combos upon casting Bladewing the Risen
Results: Infinite Dragon ETB's, Mass Reanimation.

Have Molten Echoes on the battlefiled naming Dragons and cast Bladewing the Risen

PlayBladewing the Risen, Triggering Molten Echoes and it's ETB, you can bring back a card that wins the game like Terror of the Peaks from the grave but also choose nothing if you already have a card that can win the game with Dragon ETB's.

Resolve Molten Echoes trigger(s), Create a token copy of whatever dragon was reanimated if it happened, then create a token of Bladewing, Due to the Legendary Rule, we have to sacrifice one of them, which will be the Original Bladewing the Risen, only then will the token copy of Bladewing trigger, targetting the Bladewing the Risen in the grave.

Rinse and repeat.

The Ur-Dragon <-> Tiamat: People don't like eminence, so let's just win the game faster and make them wish we played Ur Dragon instead. The Ur-Dragon -> There and Back Again: Ramp into Ramp. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon -> Pyroblast Cloudkill -> Terminate Kindred Discovery -> Doomblade Kaalia of the Vast -> Power Word Kill Belbe's Portal -> End Hostilities Plains -> Sunpetal Grove

Palace Siege: Just too slow.
Ancient Copper Dragon: Controversial but I have been faring better without the RNG of the die roll
Changeling Titan: Changeling Berserker is superior.
Changeling Hero: Changeling Berserker is superior.
Dragonlord Dromoka: Another controversial one, but the truth is, no one really kills it outright, they let it live or use their boardwipe which fails it's duty. Balefire Dragon: 6 damage just doesn't boardwipe enough nowadays.

Swamp: Mana fixing.
3x Mountain: Mana fixing. Sarkhan, Soul Aflame: Reduction Mana Cylix: Green mana
