The Kami War

Enchantment — Saga

*(As this Saga enters the battlefield and after your draw step, put a lore counter on this and activate and/or enable the ability of the saga tied to the required number of counters.

— Exile target nonland permanent an opponent controls.

— Return up to one other target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. Then each opponent discards a card.

— Exile this Saga, then return this to the battlefield transformed under your control.

phepa on Transformed Estrid's Invocation

I have The Kami War  Flip and Estrid's Invocation on board. Lets say both of them with 2 lore counters. What happens if i proliferate the Estrid's Invocation?

How will the last chapter of the Estrid's Invocation saga resolve?

My idea is that Estrid's Invocation will be exiled. But i am not sure if it returns on battlefield or not, since it cannot be transformed?

Thank you

Incoming cards:

Add these to your deck with the correct printing and foiling. I would advise for these switches, but they are purely recommendations.

So just to reiterate, the fetch/shock lands were not working for me in this format. The hit to my life points was forcing me to play more defensively and retarding my wincon. My mana base has not been the issue in any single game I have played thus far except those outliers where sometimes you just get screwed. No I don't have any 1 drops but honestly(in casual deck/games) it isn't really a detriment. I havent been reliant on Chromatic Lantern at all. In fact, I'm thinking about pulling them since, more often than not, I don't usually need them and just use them for mana. I just happened to have a Chromatic Orrery so I thru it in for the card draw. Which in a deck like this is five cards. Azusa, Lost but Seeking + The Reality Chip has provided me with massive amounts of ramp, in all facets of the game. I have a Umori, the Collector version of this deck that runs almost of the cards you suggested but when it comes to actually playing the decks, I still like how this one plays more. That is because, all the cards you suggested don't often stay on the board for more than a turn or two and end up just being removed quickly. As stated above, keeping two mana in the wings is not an issue. Losing my Sanctum of All is an issue tho. I'm not sure what your beef with Negate is but it has been doing exactly what I need it to do which is to prevent the removal of my Sanctum of All. You are right about the removal and wipes tho. That is why I added The Kami War  Flip to the deck already and why I(even tho it's not reflected in the current list) main boarded Farewell.

KBK7101- High Market is a maybe im still trying to get the mana base good enough but it may have a place after tinkering. As for O-Kagachi vs Kyodai neither mesh well with the whole death trigger in fact i wish there as a commander in five colors with Teysa Karlov first ability and Moldervine Reclamation in one card would be perfect... perhaps a bit to broken?

RambIe- I would say there a kami theme per say maybe you could call it a sub theme? If there is a kami theme it more in the background and is not as important as making this deck work. the same could be said for the all that dragon support yes it 12 dragons but it also only has 12 dragons as Teneb, the Harvester was already in the deck. However Palace Siege, Haven of the Spirit Dragon and The Kami War  Flip will defiantly find a place in the deck. As for Bladewing the Risen and Korvold, Fae-Cursed King I considered them but haven't really found a place for them the rest don't really help with what im looking for

Massacar- Mirror Gallery will find a place can always use legendary rule removal redundancy. Soul Foundry most likly will not be added as I just cut Mimic Vat for the same reason it makes me exile a Star/Sky dragon to make a copy and if the artifacts get destroyed i lose those creature permanently, while vat negates somewhat but putting the old one into the graveyard i still am weary on exiling them.

Necrosis24- I'm not looking for this to be competitive just looking for it to fun, functional and could win me some games.

Bramble Sovereign, Flameshadow Conjuring, Molten Echoes and Mirror March are all great adds and add more red to the deck is minor thing but it bother me that the basically the only red were the command and the two star/sky dragons. As for all the "Legendary Rule doesn't apply" cards yes if i don't have them free on death triggers if i have them big flying disposable minion army either way i win (though having them on board has more pluses than them just blowing up but either way is fine).

As for Reflections of Littjara i like it

As for Infinite Reflection and Echoing Equation will need some time to consider them.

And for Avenger of Zendikar + Mystic Reflection I like the consecpt but not sure if i can squeeze them in

Hey, interesting start/WIP for five color Dragons in Standard.

You have too many cards, 63 is three cards too much consider cutting 2x Commune with Spirits and Bloodfell Caves to make 60 cards? You have too many creatures to play Commune since it can only reveal a land or enchantment not a creature. 27 lands is high, cutting some for ramp would help.

For Dragons in Standard Magda, Brazen Outlaw is great because she can create ramp for treasures or sac treasures to tutor for and put a Dragon of your choice onto the battlefield.

This is a core for ramp and to tutor for Dragons. Jaspera is the tap enabler for Magda that makes mana two ways by tapping Magda and creating a treasure. Innkeeper is the best two drop in Standard for ramp, play 4x if you're playing high CMC creatures. After Innkeeper makes it's treasure it can be tapped to make mana with Jaspera.

Showdown is powerful draw in Standard since it lets you potentially play any of the cards you exiled for two turns meaning you get a turn with all your lands and mana dorks untapped to play the exiled cards including a land from them. Ramping into Showdown turn three, four or five gives you potential to exile a Dragon, The Kami War  Flip or even another Showdown to then play those cards with your ramp on your next turn. There's no restriction of what cards you can exile on the top of your library with Showdown which is great.

Another good draw option is Unexpected Windfall which also creates treasures, but to play it you would want to add more red sources in the manabase because of it's double red mana cost.

These a good numbers for these cards.

If you choose to add Jaspera Sentinel and more Prosperous Innkeeper then you'll want more Forests because being able to cast Jaspera turn one can give you an advantage. Consistently casting Innkeeper turn two is also important which more Forests can help with. Another option rather than more Forests is add Pathways that can be green on one side: Cragcrown Pathway  Flip, Branchloft Pathway  Flip, Barkchannel Pathway  Flip. Cragcrown would be best because one side of it can be red to cast Magda, Brazen Outlaw if you don't need a green source.

If you go for the more treasure route and you have to play lands that always ETB tapped then I think Uncharted is the best option since it gives you a lot of choice in game of what color to choose that you need.

Dragon's Disciple would be better as ramp. Path to the World Tree would also be better as ramp since it only puts the land into your hand and rarely are you going to use your mana to activate it. Boseiju Reaches Skyward  Flip isn't worth four mana. The Dragon-Kami Reborn  Flip has powerful saga levels, but is really too slow to get any value from it since it has to flip, you have to have a creature among the two exiled cards and then you have to a Dragon die to be able to cast that creature. I think it's more of a sideboard card for very slow matchups.

Jaspera Sentinel with Magda, Brazen Outlaw is better than Shambling Ghast and Reclusive Taxidermist. Ghast could be a sideboard card for aggro matchups, but consistently in those matchups you would want to cast it turn one which requires a lot of Swamps. I don't think it's worth negatively affecting the other colors in the manabase for Ghast.

Good luck with your deck.
