An Azami, Lady of Scrolls deck I've put together for some 1v1 edh action.

It runs a lot of counterspells as protection, and a lot of Wizards (duh) for card draw and other interactions (Patron Wizard for instance).

Win conditions include some of the following combos:

Mind over Matter + Azami + Laboratory Maniac --> Dig through your deck, whilst untapping Lab Maniac until you deck yourself.

Sensei's Divining Top + Future Sight + Cloud Key = Infinite draw and storm, followed up with Brain Freeze.

Palinchron + Caged Sun + Enough Islands = Infinite mana, this paired with Blue Sun's Zenith or Braingeyser.
