This is a more controlling and political take on utilizing Mogis, God of Slaughter. Even though attrition cards like Havoc Festival and Sulfuric Vortex would be more consistent and aggressive, they leave you vulnerable to being hated out of the game. Additionally, this decklist avoids being too oppressive, as Mogis is the primary form of attrition. This allows for more political plays, as a player is more likely to tolerate Mogis if they can take advantage of their opponent's vulnerability than if you leave them five upkeep triggers that punish them.

This deck has a few different paths to victory:

Mogis, God of Slaughter

Even as an enchantment, Mogis can deal commander damage consistently every turn, and he is difficult to remove from the board. 21 is a lot of damage to deal, so ultimately players may opt to take the damage anyways, which is why there are board wipes like Crux of Fate and grindy cards like Dross Harvester prolong the game while value cards like Wakedancer and Rukh Egg gum up the board. Additionally, morbid triggers such as Reaper from the Abyss and death triggers such as Harvester of Souls can disincentivize sacrificing fodder creatures, while the large amount of devotion provided by Demons can make Mogis swing very quickly, finishing off an opponent after removing their blockers with his 7 power. There are also doublers like Gratuitous Violence and Dictate of the Twin Gods which help speed this up.

Other Damage

Reducing opponents to 0 will be a likely course of action since it can be accomplished with teamwork, and it can be difficult to get Mogis to deal enough commander damage, though that would certainly help eat at an opponent's life total. There are efficient creatures like Yahenni, Undying Partisan and Flesh Carver that also provide sac outlets for cards like Doomed Dissenter and Hound of Griselbrand, though sac effects should be used sparingly as they are only a secondary theme to supplement the greater one of death triggers, which will occur regardless of opponents' decisions.

Liliana's Contract

This card alone, five mana and four life for four cards alone is pretty good, the alternate win con is a bonus if you can get it with the Demon subtheme. Remember that Skirsdag High Priest produces a Demon named "Demon", and an upgrade that further enables this as a combo is Conspiracy if it's within your budget.

Revel in Riches

This card could be cut, but it's included since it provides acceleration and color fixing with death triggers, and if you kill 10 opponent's creatures you win the game, which is feasible if this is left unanswered and you ration your Treasure.

Overall, this deck tends to play a more controlling game than traditional Mogis, but that approach works better for my style, taking multiple approaches to victory.
