I had the same problem in my first deck which was a landfall deck. I had a lot of big creatures but most of mine were 6 drops just like my commander. Therefore im missed the mana to do more than just 1 thing in each turn.

What I'm missing in your deck are rampcards. You have ramp in the form of Signets and a few cards such as Rampant Growth and Kodama's Reach but its too little for what your have on creatures and you have green in your commander and that's the best color to fix your manabase.

I have some suggestions for your deck but keep im not great at building decks myself so some others might find better cards for your but im trying to help you. So here are some cards I would suggest, don't add all of them but just to give you an idea of what is possible:

To search for Basic lands/lands:

-Khalni Heart Expedition

-Explosive Vegetation


-Sylvan Scrying

-Traverse the Ulvenwald


For creatures I don't really see a trend in what your idea is with. Maybe if you could explain that, I can help you with it. What I am seeing is that you have a few big ones but you need to wait so they can do something. A few nice creatures which are always nice:

-Sakura-Tribe Elder

-Avenger of Zendikar Good with your beastmaster ascension

-Solemn Simulacrum (Often used in EDH)

Some extra suggestions:

-Myriad Landscape for some extra basics

-Terramorphic Expanse Same as evolving the wilds

-Sol Ring Often used in EDH

Cards I would remove or change for something better since it does too little in EDH or your deck:

-Vandalize for Vandalblast Land destruction is not really needed in EDH and this lets your destroy 1 artifact for 1 red and overload it to destroy all artifacts for the same manacost. Even your own artifacts are safe with this one since its "you don't control"

-Lava Spike Change this for a ramp card, it does too little in your deck

-Electrolyze for Blasphemous Act if you want to kill some creatures/board wipe, this can potentially be only 1 red. If you don't want to do that then change it for a ramp card

-Dragon Tempest for Fervor Gives haste to all creatures you control. It misses the damage from dragons but makes up for it if you cast a non flying big creature.

-Ongoing Investigation Bit of a random card in my opinion in your deck

-Overwhelming Intellect for Counterspell Does pretty much the same and is cheaper in manacost, though im not really sure if you need counterspells in this deck

-Stubborn Denial for Negate This is always a hard counter even without creatures on your board

Volcanic Upheaval and Vandalize would fit your theme very well.

A couple of Pyromancer's Goggles might be nice to compliment the Burn from Within. Never underestimate Twin Bolt, particularly with the goggles, because it can deal damage to creatures or players. Low cost and effective annoyance.

Hedonist's Trove may be a fun card for you as you have a lot of mana. I get it if it doesn't fit your deck, but it would be fun. Boiling Earth might also be nice as you can cause damage to creatures, but you can also use the awaken ability to generate a couple of 4/4 creatures. Mind Rot and Mire's Malice also would be nice compliments to your deck.

Crumble to Dust if you want to get rid of multiple non-basics at once (good against multicolored decks and Westvale Abbey  Flip). Demolish is strictly worse than Structural Distortion, but better than Volcanic Upheaval in its target range but worse in that it is a sorcery, so make of it what you will. Vandalize also gets rid of lands and can have value in destroying an artifact as well.

There are a few other Land destruction options too (besides Crumble to Dust, already mentioned): Reclaiming Vines; Vandalize; and Volcanic Upheaval

I made a few card switches:

Volcanic Rambler out, Zendikar Resurgent in. I have never used the rambler's ability, and this will also help to smooth out the 6-drop bump in the mana curve.

Vandalize out, Structural Distortion in. Lower cost, exiles instead of destroy, and I just like Structural Distortion better. I won't be able to destroy two things, but I think the switch is still a net gain.

Akoum Firebird out, Obsidian Fireheart in. The firebird's landfall cost is high enough that I have never seen it as much of a playable ability. I like the inevitability that can be achieved with the fireheart's blaze counters. Also, this is an elemental replacing a non-elemental.

Atarka Monument out, Mountain in. I have actually run into the problem of running out of basic lands to pull from my library before. To combat this I have culled any non-basics I felt were unnecessary. This deck doesn't really need a mana rock anyway when that slot could give me a 5/5 token instead.

Rolling Thunder out, Comet Storm in. I get instant speed instead of sorcery, and comet storm can deal a total of more damage for less mana.

Other cards I might consider for replacement (but I'm not sure what to put in their place): Glade Watcher, Naturalize, Reclaim, Stampeding Elk Herd, Seismic Elemental.
