The goal is extreme late-game value that trivializes anything else that my opponents are doing on the battlefield. Boardwipes keep me alive until then. There's a Skullclamp package involving Bloodghast and Reassembling Skeleton that is enabled through Buried Alive, Final Parting, Stoneforge Mystic, and Open the Armory. Open the Armory also works with Heliod's Pilgrim for a small aura package of Prison Term and, more importantly, Animate Dead.
