These days I mostly play EDH. I sometimes play Canadian Highlander, Pauper, and Tiny Leaders.

Some of my favourite cards:

: Buried Alive. While it's not as savagely efficient as Entomb, Buried Alive appeals more to me as a value-laden midrange tutor that can flexibly enable a variety of strategies that are both immediate and long-term. In my Alesha commander deck, if I cast it early without any pressing need for specific cards, I like to search for Karmic Guide, Rune-Scarred Demon, and Anger.

: Woodland Bellower. A solid body that comes equipped with a toolbox tutor effect. Always feels good to cast, whether for something specific like Reclamation Sage or just for a value Wood Elves. My favourite pulls are Fierce Empath and Dauntless Escort.

: Selfless Spirit. I love the challenge and complexity of aggressive creature-based strategies. Unfortunately creatures are very vulnerable. Selfless Spirit offers a reverse rattlesnake effect that makes your team less vulnerable, however, since Indestructible is one of the most important hedges against auto-losing to one of the many wraths in nearly every deck. Selfless Spirit also protects itself from single-target exile effects, is clamp-able, offers evasion to trigger things like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician or Coastal Piracy affects, and can also serve as an excellent chump-blocker against many voltron generals.

I think you can make room for Fatal Push and Buried Alive.

I also think Birthing Pod is really strong in a creature-based deck. I would even consider enabling it with Tezzeret the Seeker.

I think you should play more dorks. Arbor Elf, Boreal Druid, and Joraga Treespeaker are all decent. Krosan Restorer is also a pretty cool card.

Reanimate and Entomb are not legal in modern.

If you want to play a lot of little creatures, however, you could play Unearth over Reanimate.

Entomb will be harder to replace. There aren't many great ways to get creatures in the bin in mono black. Collective Brutality offers some control utility in addition to being a discard-outlet.

Is Nissa, Voice of Zendikar really impactful aside from its Ultimate? And is that even realistic to reach?

No Generous Gift or Woodland Bellower?

Fleetfoot Panther seems like an auto-include along with Whitemane Lion and Kor Skyfisher.
