I've had Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind for quite a while, so I finally decided to build a deck around him.

The idea is to draw cards. Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout are three well known combo pieces with Niv that will let you draw yourself out, dealing damage the whole way down. Azami, Lady of Scrolls will let you tap your wizards, which almost every creature you have is, to draw cards as well. I included several means of shuffling your graveyard back into your library, so that you don't draw yourself out, but Laboratory Maniac is in there as a back up win condition. I also included a few wheel mechanic cards, to let you mess with your opponents hands while drawing cards. There are a few infinite combos in this deck, although most will require Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre to discard into your graveyard and keep going. You should be able to combo into a win without them, but they help.

Notable Combos:

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Ophidian Eye/Curiosity/Tandem Lookout = Infinite card draw and damage.

Azami, Lady of Scrolls + The Locust God + Arcane Adaptation/Xenograft(Naming Wizards) = Infinite card draw and 1/1 Insects.

Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind + Gorgon's Head + Card Draw = Repeatable creature removal.
