Gyome, Master Chef has been presented to us, and I knew it'd be the perfect opportunity to cook up a smorgasbord of half-baked puns and tasteful jokes. For your enjoyment this evening, we have prepared a full course that's perfect for those looking to please their desire for unique flavor while on a budget.

The special tonight is Food tokens, and lots of them. A large portion of this deck produces or uses Food tokens in some way. Gyome and many of the Eldraine cards produce food tokens, which can feed their abilities. That's typically going to take priority, but I recommend holding onto a couple for Gyome's ability that provides protection. Cauldron Familiar + Witch's Oven is here too, and while it may not be as viable a strategy as in Standard, it produces Food and death triggers often, both of which this deck benefits from.

The first side dish is Lifegain. The many food tokens produced can help with this, but there's lots of better sources. Dina, Soul Steeper is a new card that cares a lot about this, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose helps as well. A lot of cards here have incidental life gain, too. Cosmos Elixir , Highland Game , and Verdant Sun's Avatar are nice for this.

The next side dish is Graveyard Recursion. Gyome loves having customers come back for seconds, and there's lots of opportunities for it here. Footbottom Feast is a Gravepurge , but on flavor. Command the Dreadhorde and Drana, the Last Bloodchief have some fun effects, and Elixir of Immortality and Gaea's Blessing are anti-mill measures. Deadbridge Chant is a favorite of mine, too, and I highly recommend it.

And for dessert, we have some big ol' Beatsticks. Ghalta, Primal Hunger is a classic dish, of course. Feasting Troll King and God-Eternal Bontu are smaller portions but with their own self-recursion so you can go back for extra helpings.
