The one glaring omission I see is Tireless Provisioner. That said, I do think there are a couple areas this deck could improve within budget: manabase and long game.

I think a couple of your artifacts are slow or lower-impact; Horned Helm in particular seems like it is not doing enough. I would consider cutting this card and potentially Welcome to Sweettooth or Giant's Skewer for card that recur your resources, something like Palace Siege or Oversold Cemetery or The War in Heaven.

For manabase, in particular I am looking at the fact that you have 1) a ton of lands that enter the battlefield tapped all the time, and 2) only 4 other Forests for your Gingerbread Cabin. I would suggest cutting Cinder Barrens, Foul Orchard, Jund Panorama, Akoum Refuge, Gruul Guildgate, and Golgari Guildgate for Many Partings, Cinder Glade, Sheltered Thicket, Woodland Chasm, Smoldering Marsh, and Rockfall Vale. A lot of these dual lands are cheaper right now due to the Doctor Who commander deck release, so you can pick most of them up for <$1 each.

Best of luck to you!

Rhonas's Exultation

Enchantment - Aura

Enchant creature

Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each +1/+1 counter on it and has trample and "Sacrifice this creature: Creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain trample until end of turn."

Create a ridiculously big weapon, like Ogre's Cleaver, Giant's Skewer, or Enormous Energy Blade. If you can, make it even more bigger. (Good grammar, right?)

Hunter's Atlatl

Artifact - Equipment

Equipped creature gets +2/+0 and gains First Strike and Reach

Whenever a Beast, Fish or Rabbit dealt damage by equipped creature dies, create a Food token

Equip

Heavily inspired by Giant's Skewer.

Sorry, did another equipment. That's all I got for that.

Make a card for an ancient Indian themed set. (And just for clarification, I mean Indian as in "from India," not Native American)

McToters I actually just got to play it recently as well and it was 1v1 also. Cauldron Familiar was incredible as expected and was able to get a decent amount of food with that and other smaller creatures. I was unsure about Giant's Skewer , but attaching that to Gyome discouraged blocking and if he was blocked was able to create food and still sneak in some commander damage with trample. Won with commander damage by tapping down my opponents big scary Eldrazi. I haven’t played it since MH2 dropped, I’m excited to Academy Manufactor and Tireless Provisioner in action!

I like that Hot Soup 's drawback can be circumvented by the commander. Great suggestions from Griffstick.

Tossing a vote in for the food-related artifacts; Giant's Skewer and Witch's Oven . Both of these seem like they would be good adds to this deck.

Hello,

Deck looks fun, but here's a few other fun things you could consider, maybe as single copies:

Shadowspear You have a lot of big dudes who could gain you a lot of life with the lifelink, the trample can still be nice on your decent creatures that don't already have it, and having the option to get rid of hexproof and indestructible can be nice to have sitting on the board.

The Great Henge You have mostly creatures, and many big ones, so this would be an immediate upgrade to the deck. Even the life gain can be relevant with your Deathless Knight .

Esika's Chariot Could be just a fun thing to play with. It could be interesting to multiply your food tokens with it, or even the giant from Giant Opportunity . Should be easy to crew here too.

Your mana base could benefit from running 4 Darkbore Pathway  Flip and maybe some Fabled Passage especially if you insist on playing Sorcerer's Broom , but personally those would be the first things to go. I'm also not sure how much you like Giant's Skewer but I'm pretty sure you don't need 4 of them either.

Hopefully this will give you some food for thought for your food deck!
