I've been playing for years, but this is the first deck I'm really happy with. Still tinkering with parts here and there, but settled on focusing on activated abilities. Not being forced into a color lets me use any cards I want, and activated abilities allow for a lot of flexibility and different decisions during the game.

Main goals:

  • Get mana dorks out first

  • Try to maintain hand of 7, and/or keep playing 1 land per turn

  • Create creature tokens, and boost creatures with +1/+1 counters

  • Keep life up to around 40 if possible (through lifelink)

  • x14 forest symbols?

  • 4 each minimum basic lands: UGR (colors of all 1 drops)
