This is an elf tribal deck that uses Rhys the Redeemed to pilot it and focuses on creating tokens, particularly elf tokens or those made by elves to overwhelm opponents. There is also a anthem sub theme and an abundance of shroud and hex-proof options to make the deck more difficult to slow or shut down by protecting key creatures and generally making tokens more dangerous.

The deck includes several ways to solve problems that could hamper the deck such as board wipes issues with cards like Eldrazi Monument, spot removal with various hex-proof and shroud effects and blasting through pillow forts with the use of repeatable artifact and enchantment removal to strip defenses. To do this multiple ways of tutoring creatures and enchantments were added for a toolbox approach to solving problems.
