So, this is my take on Kumena merfolk tribal. Usually this guy is more of a aggro type General but due to my playgroup being made out of mid range bombo-ish decks I had to alter my deck to a mid range combo-ish thing...

For starters, this is NOT a cEDH deck. If you want a tribal cEDH deck you really should try to find other strategies because tribal is almost always going to be weaker than any generic Tymna the Weaver + Thrasios, Triton Hero or Meren of Clan Nel Toth list. This is not the absolute truth but is usually the case.

STRATEGY: The deck aims to generate value abusing Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca's abilities (mostly the card draw) with the help of untap effects such as Seedborn Muse and Quest for Renewal to have a handful of answers to stuff your opponents will try to resolve while you build one of your combos, and sometimes deal a little bit of combat damage if the board doesn't have many threats that can hit you back.

COMBOS/FINISHERS: Since we have access to blue and card draw built in our General a Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal to finish with a Laboratory Maniac is the obvious choice, and now that we have a new merfolk finisher with the introduction of Thassa's Oracle this is just a flavor win. Another option (even though less effective) is to generate infinite mana with Dramatic + Scepter and mill the opponent's libraries with Ambassador Laquatus. I added another combo as a second option to Scepter in case you ran out of protection for it, Arcane Adaptation + Turntimber Ranger, you name ally for Adaptation and create infinite wolf ally tokens to beat the opponents, to deal with summoning sickness I run Crashing Drawbridge and if the stars align I'll have a Leyline of Anticipation on the board and resolve the Ranger on someone else's end step. And the option to just surprise one shot someone with your unbloackable infecting fish-people is welcome Triumph of the Hordes.

Many thing on this deck can be tweaked for more efficiency and speed, this list is what I use with my limited budget to play with the idiots I call friends. And I prefer a synergy heavy deck to a full on combo or a control/stax combo strategy.
