The centerpiece combo of this deck is Army of the Damned + Culling the Weak + Torment of Hailfire \Exsanguinate. In conjunction with K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, this combo can be used to systematically generate a ton of mana, while gaining life in the process - culminating into total annihilation of all opponents. At first glance the overall casting cost of this combo may seem high, however this is mitigated by K'rrik's ability to turn all black cost into Phyrexian mana. The combo can be easily tutored up using Doomsday or Behold the Beyond. If you go the Doomsday route, make sure Infernal Contract is the top card of your library so you can draw the remaining 3 - 4 combo pieces. This deck also has a decent ramp package, which helps accelerate into this combo as early as turn 4.

A good secondary win con of this deck is to use Thrashing Wumpus + Rush of Vitality to deal massive amounts of damage to the table. In order to successfully pull this combo off, you'll need to have K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth in play with a Darksteel Plate to prevent him from dying to the Thrashing Wumpus ping activation's. Additionally, you'll gain a ton of life for each activation of the Wumpus's ability since Rush of Vitality gives it lifelink. To pull off the combo, cast Rush of Vitality while the Wumpus is in play to make it indestructible while also giving it lifelink until end of turn, then pay 3 life to activate its ability (2 life in Phyrexian mana plus the 1 life included in its activation cost). Depending on the number of opponents you have and creatures in play, you'll gain at least 6 life per activation - netting you 3 life each time. Rinse and repeat to drain the table.

Primary win cons:

Below are all variants of the Army of the Damned + Culling the Weak + Torment of Hailfire \Exsanguinate with their included casting cost and damage potential. If you are running low on life, you can alternatively use Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat before the first round of sacing your zombie tokens to gain life for each token sacrificed. The remaining black cost in the combo will be offset by all of the life gain triggers that occur during the combo.

EDIT - I removed Exsanguinate and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed from the deck to focus more on tutors. However, I would still consider them as viable sideboard option for this build.

EDIT - Not sure how I missed this one, but I replaced Ashnods alter with Culling the Weak to exponentially increase the damage potential of the below mentioned combo, while significantly reducing the overall casting cost of the combo (updates coming soon to reflect the change).

  • Army of the Damned + Asnod's Alter + Exsanguinate\Torment of Hailfire = 45 - 135 Damage to table (5 colorless mana + 6 black\18 life) Methodology - Cast Asnod's , then cast Army of the Damned for 5 mana and 6 life to get 13 zombie tokens. Sac 4 tokens to generate 8 mana (1 mana will be floated) and cast Army of the Damned again for its flasback cost (paying 6 life for triple black). You should now have a total of 22 zombie tokens plus 1 mana floating at your disposal. Sac all 22 tokens to Alter to add another 44 mana to the pool (plus 1 floating from earlier) then dump all 45 into Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate dealing upwards of 135 damage to the table if Torment is used, or 45 damage to the table if Exsanguinate is used

  • Army of the Damned + Ashnod's Altar + Exsanguinate\Torment of Hailfire + Blood Artist\Zulaport Cutthroat = 69 - 157 damage *25 damage from sac triggers + gain 44 - 69 life (8 colorless mana, 4 black or 8 life to start the combo. Remaining black cost will be offset by life gain triggers) Methodology - Cast Alter, then cast AotD. Sac one zombie token to Alter to create 2 colorless mana, then pay 2 life to cast Blood Artist\Zulaport Cutthroat leaving 1 mana floating. Sac remaining 12 tokens to Alter to add an additional 24 mana to the pool (plus the 1 floated earlier) then spend 7 mana and 6 life to flasback AotD, leaving 18 mana in the pool. Sac the remaining 13 zombie tokens to add an additional 26 mana to the pool and pay 4 life to cast Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate then pay 44 as the cost of X.

  • Army of the Damned + Ashnod's Altar + Exsanguinate\Torment of Hailfire + Mikaeus, the Unhallowed = 90 - 270 damage (8 colorless mana, 11 black\22 life) Methodology - Cast Alter, then cast AotD. Sac 2 zombie tokens and cast Mikaeus (paying 6 life and floating 1 mana). Now that all of your creatures have undying, sac the remaining 11 zombie tokens twice to generate 44 (+1 mana floated earlier). Use 7 of the 45 mana and spend 6 life to flashback AotD then sac all 13 zombie tokens twice giving you a total of 90 mana (38 from first cast of AotD + 52 from flashback)

  • Thrashing Wumpus + Rush of Vitality + K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth + Darksteel Plate = Near infinite damage\lifegain (4 colorless, 3 black\6 life - assuming K'rrik is in play with the Plate attached to him)

I am in the early stages of testing this build, so any and all suggestions are welcomed.
