Nearly No Hand Attack

I'm going down to one IOK and no other hand attack mainboard. Hand attack has just turned out to be really really bad if its not on turn one or turn three and it even worse in top-deck scenarios. The one IOK is still worth it because it is amazing in an opening hand and I might eventually put a copy or two in the board but for now the hand attack is getting cut from the mainboard almost entirely.

With Hullbreacher getting the BAN hammer I changed it out for Notion Thief. I also have tried to add the Lion's Eye Diamond, Brain Freeze and Underworld Breach combo so I added more wheel effects and Narset. Wheels will help fuel Underworld Breach and if Notion Theif or Narset are out or used as backups I can hurt my opponents.

I proxied in the commander and played this deck over the weekend. It played fairly well. There wasn't a board wipe for a while so i managed to steamroll quite well. Ended up losing, but was still a fun deck to play.
I recommend to anyone who is going to play Volo to get a pad of sticky notes for your tokens.. You end up with a lot of different tokens and unless you want to print out a copy of every creature in your deck, you will need to write down what each one is.
Early considerations to cut are Jace's Phantasm and Lhurgoyf .. both were underwhelming.

Swapping Harmonize for Beast Whisperer. The deck is still lowish on card draw but I've been feeling like 4 mana for 3 cards isn't so worth it in a tempo aggro deck like this. I'd rather get a creature and a possible few cards later turns.
Counterspell replacement

After 3 or so times hitting a Counterspell off a cascade trigger, instead will be running Mana Drain. It can target whatever Cascaded and therefor regain whatever mana you used to cast it as colorless mana. So won't be an absolute whiff if its revealed from Cascade.

Hullbreacher got the banhammer, replaced it with Academy Manufactor. Also noticed decklist shows 102, somewhere 2 extra cards got added. Will need to find and remove them for the finalized decklist.

Hullbreacher got the ban, need to replace it. Opted for Pili-Pala + Grand Architect infinite mana combo. Grand Architect also buffs Alela's Faeries so does fit the deck idea, don't have a outlet for infinite mana but it enables me to cast everything in my deck for just a single blue to start the combo.

Out: Harabaz Druid, Maskwood Nexus
In: Juniper Order Druid, Wild Growth
Always felt that Harabaz Druid combo was just extremely janky, absolutely requiring the Nexus to work when every other combo is relatively flexible. Decided to swap in the Juniper Order guy because he works more or less the same as Magus of the Candelabra and Ley Weaver but a bit rougher since he can only untap one land. Yeah I lose a bit of utility with the Nexus (like not being able to bounce and replay Acidic Slime) but Wild Growth makes comboing with my three untappers more consistent.
Overall the matches I've played have been very succesful but I suspect I need to play Kogla in a bit higher powered meta than I have so far. We will see.

Not many great zombies these days. Acererak the Archlich is too slow on its own, and comboing with Rooftop Storm doesn't mean much when seemingly everything goes off with the storm. The whole The Book of Vile Darkness miniquest is too much effort for a medium payoff, and Wight is essentially a tapped vanilla bear in a format of no blocking. Wand of Orcus looks too bad: the sort of card that works in the deck, but isn't better than anything else.
Shambling Ghast, however, feels like has some form of silly potential. I don't know what that would be, but I'm watching it. Maybe something to do with Nested Shambler from MH2-- run a bunch of value 1's with death triggers? Havengul Lich lets you do...something. Adding in an Altar or Plague Belcher helps. Nested Shambler also shares similar space.

kind of expected to be out of the picture and it happening today, I've made a quick swap into Opposition Agent (Let's just play it until that leaves too.) The maybeboard features Steelshaper's Gift where the now banned card would have snapped into.
Don't be afraid to recommend cards for this deck. There could always be space for it somewhere in the void.
