I thought it would be pretty funny to try and make a mono-red mill deck since it seems pretty unconventional and challenging, but also fun. Since it's in red I lack about 99% of the solid non-artifact mill cards and since I'm a poor person I can am only including more budget options within the deck. The end goal of this deck is to land >$100.

Red doesn't do mill very well. At least not nearly as well as Blue and Black do. So in order to compensate for this lack of mill focused cards, I decided to take a different approach. That approach being wheel and fork effects. Now Wheel of Fortune and Fork themselves are way outside of my price range, but I believe I did a pretty decent job at putting in some budget alternatives. Wheel is effectively a mill 7 every time you reiterate it, so the goal is to make everyone wheel a bunch until mostly everyone decks out. I have some artifacts to help which I'll talk about a bit further down.

I chose Feldon of the Third Path as my commander for obvious reasons. This deck is going to mill a lot, but since it's red and I primarily need to resort to wheel based effects, the mill also applies to me. Feldon is a great utility option to deal with sending all of my fun cards to the grave. Cards I plan on targeting most with him are probably Dragon Mage, Magus of the Wheel, and Goblin Welder, but there are also some other juicy targets if I choose to take a different approach than mill half way through.

Now unlike most mill decks, this one needs to rely on artifacts to ensure that I am not getting milled out faster than everyone else. Cards like Keening Stone, Alter of Dementia, and Sands of Delirium are great artifacts that do just that that have great synergy with the rest of the deck. Bonehoard, Trepanation Blade, Codex Shredder, and Elixir of Immortality are great utility to ensure that I am not going to be milled out and I can also get back some of my wheels. Tormod's Crypt and Relic of Progenitus are in hear to get rid of pesky graveyards for decks that like to have them (other than mine), and are nice ways to keep the rest of the board in check.

As stated above this deck needs a lot of mana in order to efficiently mill everyone out, since wheels aren't free and they are generally more costly than most things you'll see in standard mill decks. Therefore I'll be playing the standard mana rocks like Sol Ring, But I am also playing things like Burnished Hart and Solemn Simulacrum to get the mountains.
