This deck is copied from a deck that I am leaving private for my own reference. I was attempting to stay within a budget with few cards costing at or above 10$. Now that the deck has been made I'm not going to worry about budget as much. I'll be buying cards a few at a time. Also I generally buy cards for commander when whatever set it is in rotates out of standard. I'll add cards in standard to this decklist but I'll be buying them after they rotate. Originally this deck was going to be a Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest deck with some token generation from cards like Young Pyromancer . Primarily to avoid getting hosed by gravepact effects. I decided to switch to Kykar, Wind's Fury because in a pinch spirits can act as ramp. Shu yun was kept as part of the 99 along with most of the cantrips. Best case scenario I can cast them on Zada, Hedron Grinder and in the worst case scenario I can cycle through the deck. The strategy of the deck is to use Kykar to ramp in the early game. Go wide and then pump everything, ideally with Zada and Fists of Flame or Seething Anger . If we have the heart of the cards we get Haze of Rage . If that is not going to work we can use Shu yun. What the deck lacks is consistency. That can be improved by focusing on one strategy or by adding more tutors. There are several questionable card choices that can be removed. If you have any questions about any cards comment and I'll try to get back to you. In general the response is going to be it was part of the shu yun deck.
