Now without Mulldrifter! — Nov. 25, 2017

I've decided to cut Mulldrifter. I know that sounds crazy, but with the amount of card draw I've added to the deck over the last several updates, it's become a liability. There are games I have been unable to win because a Mulldrifter was in my graveyard and I had only 1 card in my library. I could do some really awkward plays like Faerie Macabre to exile it, but I'd rather minimize the amount of cards I have to exile from my own graveyard.

I'm also cutting Curator of Mysteries. The effect is relatively minor and only good if you're casting it in the midgame, which I'm not. The fact that the cycling cost can't be reduced by Fluctuator is also a downside. It's just an underwhelming card overall.

To recoup the loss of Mulldrifter, I'm going to add Sacred Excavation back in. It's not necessarily the best value card you can run, but it's good enough for most things. I considered All Suns' Dawn instead, but you can't tutor for it as easily and you will rarely have 5 targets.

I'm also going to add Krosan Verge. I wasn't planning on adding it until the enemy bicycle lands were printed, but who knows how long that will take. An additional land is also pretty important to the deck. Turns out when you run less than 30 lands you get mana screwed a lot. Who knew?
