Shoreline Ranger Discussion

I think Traveler's Amulet is just like one of the landcyclers without the advantage of being a creature late game so I'd totally take that out for Shoreline Ranger

I don't think I see other card that is just "worse" than Chartooth Cougar for you to remove, maybe Wayfarer's Bauble or Star Compass but these are debatable

I think it is worth a shot, I've been running these landcyclers in my nongreen decks and they work better than I expected

May I suggest Shoreline Ranger and Chartooth Cougar ? Get a land to hand for the same cost as Traveller's Amulet but If you don't need more lands play them as creatures

I realised that I just need some good ol blockers instead of needing to use spells to protect myself. Separatist Voidmage and Vedalken Dismisser can also be flickered to deal with threats, yet still block.

This is a thing i also want to do with the new cards and your idea, to tutor and than cycle, seems pretty sweet.

Maybe Landcycling is something for you : Twisted Abomination, Krosan Tusker, Wirewood Guardian, Shoreline Ranger

We cracked a bunch of really interesting cards today. Scourge had a bunch of "CMC matters" spells (e.g., we got a Dragon Shadow), so our Scornful Egotist -- which on first look was perhaps the most overcosted 1/1 we'd ever seen -- actually made sense.

Other fun cards were Treetop Scout (a non-flying flyer?!?), and a couple from the, er, cycling cycle: Noble Templar and Shoreline Ranger.

Scourge also introduced the Storm mechanic, which made Hindering Touch our top pick at common. Reward the Faithful at uncommon was better though. But Pick 1 went to our rare:
