What began as a mono-green deck created to teach my daughter how to play MTG quickly became far more viable as a competitive deck. This deck reminds me of my experiences with the origins of the game and my playgroup back in 1994, so although Green has always been a tertiary color to my Sultai and Grixis sensibilities, the straightforward nature of calling as many big-baddies in the shortest amount of time possible is something almost every player can enjoy. Additional spells, enchantments and artifacts to protect my board, answer early threats and abuse the strengths of my deck are all included to make it a bit more viable against better decks among my LGS players.

I'm sure as I dig through the variety of green spells and creatures, I'll find other options to throw into the deck as well, but if you see any obvious omissions, feel free to leave a comment. Thanks.
