Eladamri's Vineyard Discussion

JA14732 on Phelddagrif Group Hug for all

Interesting decklist, but it really doesn't seem too group-huggy - I'll bet things like Upwelling, Heartbeat of Spring, Temple Bell, Font of Mythos, Eladamri's Vineyard, Magus of the Vineyard, Heartwood Storyteller, Kami of the Crescent Moon etc. to ensure people are on your side, alongside Collective Voyage and Tempt with Discovery to give yourself a little payment on top. Might I also consider investing into a few combo win conditions so that you can win from out of the blue after making everyone trust you?

Things like:

Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron + Prosperity , Forced Fruition included (Forced Fruition makes opponents have fewer cards in their library, so when you Prosperity, you deck them without decking yourself) P.S: you can substitute Great Whale, Peregrine Drake or even Cloud of Faeries for Palichron.

Mind Over Matter + Temple Bell (yet again, deck your opponents)

Kiora's Follower + Pemmin's Aura (infinite mana, plus you can give your dude shroud in a pinch)

Knowledge Pool + Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir (if this resolves, the game ends with your opponents hardlocked while you can still cast spells)

Or, if you go the "Holy craploads of mana" route, you can just try and float 101 with Upwelling and just try to resolve a Helix Pinnacle.

I'm a little nervous about Managorger: all it does is paint a target on your back. And you don't really have any way of protecting yourself once that target is locked.

Good luck!

FLATSO99: Eladamri's Vineyard cannot allow a T1 victory - it only gives each player GG at the beginning of their first PREcombat main phase, and you're not able to cast it before your first precombat main. It can enable a T2 victory in theory, though.

I feel that the first step to improving the deck is understanding your cards and your combos. The only combos that work in the deck, as I understand it, are the ones around Power Artifact (which produce infinite colorless), and the ones that involve a creature tapping to untap TWO lands (which produce infinite mana of any color). You can't get infinite mana out of Arbor Elf, for example, unless you're untapping Dimir Aqueduct or something.

Also, punctuation is your friend :)

ok thanks for the reminder and the +1 i really aprciate it what lands do you think i should add in in place of Talisman of Dominance and maybe Dream Halls and do you think Survival of the Fittest is good enough for the deck seeing as i only have 15 creatures? i think Eladamri's Vineyard is to good in this deck to take out as it helps pull off your turn one win con:)

@LVL_666 sorry to get back to you so slowly but heres how i win turn one i play an Island or a card like City of Brass then i play either Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal, or Mox Diamond and anthor card etheir Sol Ring or Mana Crypt then useing your two mana of any color from your first set of cards choose bule for both then play Power Artifact and then play Grim Monolith, or Mana Vault useing your mana from Sol Ring or Mana Crypt then set your infinte combo in motion and if you have one of the kill cards like Exsanguinate in hand play it and win or the other combo is much les likely to happen play Eladamri's Vineyard or one of your other mana tapers Mana Crypt, etc... then play Arbor Elf and Utopia Sprawl then ramp even higher by exlieing Elvish Spirit Guide from your hand or reviling Chancellor of the Tangle form your hand play Sol Ring and/or useing your mana from Mana Crypt play freed from the real on Arbor Elf then play lightning greeves or Concordant Crossroads start your combo and play one of your kill cards like Exsanguinate and win since these combos wont always come up it usuly wins turn two or three but has a pretty good chance of wining turn one!!!:)
