I know what you are thinking... Burn? in EDH? how is that even possible? Well, since we are in commander and many burn spells don't scale up to the multiplayer aspect of the game. We are left to scale with the Mana Value of the cards to in turn boost the damage. We have many cards like Erratic Explosion, Calibrated Blast, and Kaboom! that are rarely used... However, to take advantage of this we can build a whole deck around them to "guarantee" a much bigger burn spell along with a lot of other unique card choices. With the recent printing of Strixhaven, this deck has made leaps and bounds towards being a more potent janky strategy. This is a strategy you are unlikely to see, but Wizards is slowly moving closer to this deck being even more viable with the recent printings of singing study and Imposing Grandeur. I imagine this unique idea will become much more common. For now though, enjoy my take on a 5 color burn deck in EDH. With Codie, Vociferous Codex at the helm, we can use our low mana value slots for copy spells such as Increasing Vengeance, furystorm, and Reiterate to create more burn value for cheap since our mana curve is exceedingly high
