This deck holds a special place in my heart, being my first commander deck. However, I've modified it over time, and it has grown to deal some serious damage and get a serious value engine.

As with any Marchesa deck, its game plan is to get creatures out, sac outlets out, 1+/1+ counters on those creatures, and eventually out-value your opponent. This deck only runs one mostly infinite combo with Flayer of the Hatebound + Sage of Fables + Ashnod's Altar to get out tons of damage and draw tons of cards.

Main deckbuilding inspiration comes from "Budget Marchesa the Black Rose", however, I have made plenty of my own edits, modifications, and welcome additions/subtractions.

(P.S. The Scalding Tarn is only in there because I pulled it, so feel free to replace it. Makes it a lot cheaper.)
