Butter Your Necktie

In 1950, the movie Harvey was released, and the world was exposed to the greatest, most terrifying threat known to man: "One more peep outa you weisenheimer and I'll butter your necktie."

Bruse Tarl looks like just the kind of man who would butter someone's necktie. And with the help of Jeska, Thrice Reborn, he's gonna do just that.

This is a one-shot voltron deck. The formula is simple. Bruse Tarl (doublestrike) + Jeska (x3 damage) + something that gives Bruse at least +1/+0 = at least 24 commander damage, killing a player.

Key Deck Ideas:

• Most of the cards in the deck give a creature at least +1/+0.
• Many cards give haste for a surprise swing.
• Others give Bruse flying, letting us clear most blockers.
• Still others give him trample. If he only has +1, they have to soak up 4 damage to survive. But if he's given +2 they need to block 10 damage, if he's given +3 they need to block 16 of his damage.
• Lots of protection to keep Bruse alive, plus the actual keyword protection for avoiding blockers.
• Fiery Emancipation is Jeska's backup. We don't really have many ways to protect her. On the other hand, Jeska and Bruce dying makes Jeska more useful when she comes back out.
• Lots of ramp to get Bruse out early. Without haste, it's probably better to play Bruse first, then Jeska the next turn. This gives Jeska more loyalty anyway.
• Feather. On top of a ton of draw, I noticed that I have a lot of instant and socrecies that target a creature. Feather, the Redeemed can let me reuse them. If I get a cantrip like expedite, it becomes a serious draw engine.
