Dosan plays naturally well against blue control and midrange strategies. It has its play agains aggro, too (notably Glacial Chasm, Elderscale Wurm, Wurmcoil Engine, Thragtusk, Primal Command...), but it struggles against combo decks. There it relies on fast Dark Depths combo kill on its own.

Note: I despise Commander, Conspiracy, Battlebond and all these special editions and I refuse to use cards from them. If you don't, then Tempt with Discovery and Pir's Whim are powerful additions to the strategy.
