Description/Goal

I’ve always wanted to build a Samurai deck, my favorite movie is “The Last Samurai” and I just love Samurai but they don’t quite work in 60 card formats. I just recently got into EDH and I’m super hype to build this deck.

The deck is going to be very budget, I already own the Umezawa's Jitte so it doesn’t count towards my budget. I’m also gonna try my best to pick up a Stoneforge Mystic and Bloodforged Battle-Axe when I can.

I know the deck probably won’t be all that good but my play group is very casual. They play mostly precons.

The goal of the deck is to play a bunch of Samurai and suit them up with equipment and pump them with anthems. I’ve included some artifact ramp and removal to help along the way.

As for suggestions, I’m looking for some more card draw, and possibly some more equipment (not sure if I have enough for Akiri, Fearless Voyager ). Please suggest cuts as well because I have no idea what to cut at this point.

I’m especially interested in cards that fit the flavor of the deck, even if they’re a bit worse than the alternative. For example I added Final Judgment over say Wrath of God .
