I bought this deck on sale for $25 during the pandemic, waited about 2 months and sold the Deflecting SwatGC for $35, sold the Etali, Primal Storm for $5, Sol Ring for $3, then bought silver dragon shield sleeves for it for $9 and with the remaining $9, I bought stuff like Ethereal Forager, Beast Within, Ketria Triome, Sulfur Falls, etc. to fill out the deck all at $0 net cost.

In 2024, I decided to give this a small upgrade after having played it a few times each with Kalamax and the alternate commanders. I sold a card that recently spiked for $40 and then bought Breeding Pool, Steam Vents, and Stomping Ground to replace the bounce lands the deck came with. Having liked Kalamax the most out of the possible commanders, I also decided to put in a small handful of upgrades like Ral, Storm Conduit, Reverberate, Increasing Vengeance, and Expansion / Explosion while taking out cards that were for the other commanders.

In April 2025, when Crop RotationGC became a game changer, I took that out and added a Sol Ring since they were an even trade.
