Hotheaded Giant
Creature — Giant Warrior
Haste
Hotheaded Giant enters the battlefield with two -1/-1 counters on it unless you played another red spell this turn.

Thanks for the suggestion, DaFerra! I know Manamorphose is often seen as a trap that makes your own hand hard to evaluate, but the benefit I see here is that it's an easy way to drop a turn-2 Goblin Freerunner or a turn 3/4 Hotheaded Giant. As for Abundant Growth, I think a big draw to playing Naya warriors is Wild Nacatl, so while something like Lush Growth would trigger it's ability, I prefer the deck thinning of Evolving Wilds and either Naya Panorama or Terramorphic Expanse for permanent fixing. While you trade a little flexibility in casting discounted warriors off Brighthearth Banneret, Manamorphose can enable the double red for Goblin Bushwhacker or whatever you need.

I've always wanted to make some simple 40-card beginner decks to teach people how to play, and with the combination of me moving to a new school district and my girlfriend saying she is willing to learn, I have finally built them. I would like your opinions on them, and if they seem easy enough for a newer player to understand. (As a note, I tried to include a wide cast of keywords to emphasize the diversity of the game.)
Each deck has 17 lands and one rare, which the deck is themed around

Gatstaf Arsonists Flip seems like the best choice from my view.
Hotheaded Giant is awesome. Ridge Rannet has extra utility early on.
