I’ve posted about this before, but one of my favorite creature types is Sable. It’s only on Bronze Sable, so there is zero support for them.
Earth Sable

Lifelink
Whenever another Sable you control enters or leave the battlefield, you may pay life equal to its power. If you do, you draw that many cards. If you don’t you gain life equal to that creature’s toughness.

Sorcery
Until end of turn, Sables you control get +x/+x and gain lifelink and trample, when x is the number of sables you control.
Draw a card for each sable you control.
- Would be completely overpowered, but Bronze Sable is the lone member of its elusive tribe.

Epicurus Good history, thanks. I don't want to bog down this thread, but biology hasn't ever been a major concern of creature types, unless they're cute or impressive mammals. There's no taxonomically convincing reason to separate Bronze Sable and Joven's Ferrets but group Clinging Anemones and Man-o'-War as jellyfish, and it gets even worse outside of the animal kingdom. Plant and Fungus are as narrow as it gets.

To start with, this deck is a legacy deck. Not sure why Bronze Sable is in this deck. Maybe try Ichorclaw Myr

Come on Wizards, unban Chaos Orb, Falling Star, and Shahrazad in vintage! And I don't see why Delighted Killbot is banned either. What makes it any better than Bronze Sable?

+1. Personally, though, I'd rather win with explicitly the Bronze Sable + Mechanized Production gameplan, dropping the Metallic Mimics and Adaptive Automatons for more 1 mana discard (5-6) and maybe a Tezzeret and a Cackling Counterpart for some more general counterspells (like Remand or Mana Leak).

Oh no hyperlinking didn't work at all. I just spent 15 minutes adding cards that weren't in the database. Welp. I'll just add them without links.
Cards with links need CN2 edition, cards without need to be added to database.
