The deck likes to ramp early and then accumulate card advantage while beating down. There’s a few other directions to go like using low-cmc changelings to get unesh triggers or flicker effects to reuse them. I’ve found that even playing 4-6 drop sphinxes still churns through the deck just fine so I don’t use changelings or flicker anymore.

Effects like omen machine/uba mask/ and narset, parter of veils are also strong because the fact or fictions from unesh break parity.

Jace and beacon of tomorrows serve as definitive wincons alongside beatdown because it’s more than possible that the deck would otherwise draw itself out while storming off with sphinxes before winning in combat.

If you cut anything due to budget restrictions, take out Nykthos last. With ~2 blue pips per permanent it’s one of the strongest layoffs in the deck and will regularly make 10-20 mana
