I saw a deck for sale on ebay by seller buybarnbuybarn, including a decklist for $30. It turns out all the cards sell for a LOT less than that, and I already had a lot of them. I made some pretty significant changes, and am using just less than a third of the cards from that deck. One big change - it's not all merfolk anymore - I've added a few extra creatures of other types, just in case someone can get rid of all my merfolk. The deck mechanic is still similar to the original, with a lot of islandwalk, forcing your opponent to control islands. I've also added a secondary specialty of cards that let you steal other people's stuff. I think it will be fun.
