This is essentially a Razaketh, the Foulblooded storm deck, with a few alternate win avenues like Aetherflux Reservoir or a giant Exsanguinate. Thematically packed with life loss, life gain, sacrificing, huge mana generation, and plenty of tutoring opportunities.

General play pattern for the deck (aka, mini primer): Although there is some tremendous mono-black ramp in the form of Crypt Ghast, Nirkana Revenant, Caged Sun, and others, powering Razaketh out ASAP is not the ideal pathway, at least with my tests. It is better to develop a board by playing slight value options such as Dark Prophecy and Ashnod's Altar and cultivate a stable supply of tokens through Sengir Autocrat or Breeding Pit. Then, once these pieces are in play, drop Razaketh and begin one of the two main win conditions. Condition 1- Storm. The deck has lots of cheap creatures and ways to turn those creatures into cards or mana. It is entirely possible to string together a series of creatures and finish the fight with Tendrils of Agony or Aetherflux Reservoir; this can even surprise some opponent's depending on the board state. This method is recommended if you currently have a token army, a mostly empty graveyard, and plenty of mana. Condition 2- Invaluable Twilight. The deck can also generate incidental value from nontoken creature deaths, a la Grave Pact or Pawn of Ulamog. Add onto this the power of Buried Alive and Twilight's Call, and it is possible to overwhelm each and every opponent with the combined might of all of the deck's best creatures. Resolving Abhorrent Overlord with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and other black permanents in play is usually enough, but with Gray Merchant of Asphodel also in the mix, the game is as good as over. This method works best if your graveyard is already stocked with creatures, you have some enchantments for devotion, and you're sure you can cast Twilight's Call with impunity.

So anyway, that's my take on Razaketh as a commander. I think this deck is a lot of fun and is actually fairly competitive while still being affordable. It may not be top tier, but it makes up for that with a fun, almost puzzle-like gameplay pattern that forces the pilot to consider each move carefully to maximize resources.
