This Deck is all about control until you can combo. This deck is not about letting your opponents have fun. The objective is to lock them out of the game.

The main combos are:

Ertai, Wizard Adept + Arcane Laboratory

With 4 open mana your op can only cast 1 spell and you can counter that spell every turn.

Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool

Since Teferi only allows opponents to cast spells at sorcery speed and the ability of Knowledge Pool uses the stack in a way that all spells your opponent would cast from hand would be instant speed, this prevents them from casting any spells from hand for the rest of the game. They can still cast their commander and cards in their graveyard but other than that they are locked out.

Cloud Key/Etherium Sculptor + Magus of the Future/Future Sight + Sensei's Divining Top

This Combo allows you to draw your whole deck and generate infinite storm for free. This sets you up to either Brain Freeze your opponent to death, or if they have an eldrazi shuffle effect and you are not able to Stifle the trigger you can always win by drawing a card with Laboratory Maniac on the battlefield.

Mindslaver + Academy Ruins + 12 Mana

This combo allows you to have infinite turns. a bit harder to obtain than the past combos. By returning Mindslaver to the top of your library on upkeep with Academy Ruins and having 12 mana available you are able to play and sacrifice Mindslaver every turn basically taking infinite turns. There are ways in the deck to make this combo cheaper but you get the idea.

Palinchron + Phantasmal Image + 7 Land

This combo gives you infinite mana. Play Palinchron untapping 7 lands, then play Phantasmal Image Floating 5 Mana, copying Palinchron and untapping 7 Land. Return the Phantasmal Image to your hand with its ability from Palinchron and repeat. This nets 1 Mana per repetition. With this Mana you can take all of their permanents with Memnarch or draw your whole deck with Blue Sun's Zenith or play the other combos or good cards in your hand.
