Borborygmos, Spirit of the Gruul Tribes

Commander / EDH Aggro Casual Ramp RG (Gruul)

Third Commander deck, third Gruul deck! This time I decided to go with an underutilized classic, Borborygmos! How often do you see the original Borborygmos as a commander? Not often! More often than not, if you see someone running him, they're running Borborygmos Enraged. Now, Borborygmos Enraged is in this deck, but I decide that I liked what Borborygmos did just a little better. He's not very good, but it's super fun when he gets going. This deck is based around buffing your creatures with keyword abilities to overwhelm your opponent. Of them, Trample and Haste are featured the most, but Double Strike and Deathtouch are included as well. It's your typical Gruul smash deck. Have fun!
Strengths: This deck is great against decks that try to draw out games, as the repeated assaults by the many creatures in this deck will eventually take its toll. Decks that aren't prepared for wins by Commander damage are also good matchups, as while this deck isn't Volton, Borborygmos can do great damage by himself.

Weaknesses: Pillowfort decks are pretty bad for just about any creature-heavy deck to go against, and this deck is no exception! If you can't attack, you can't deal damage, and that really shuts this deck down, though Bane of Progress is useful against enchantment-heavy decks.
