Like a phoenix, Purphoros rises from the Ashlings of my previous burn decks (Kumano and Laella also had turns). Remind me to put in a vague primer.

Alt-Win Combos (I like to have one or two in every deck):

1. Purphoros, God of the Forge + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker + Lightning Crafter Here's how it goes: Purphoros, God of the Forge + Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker are on the battlefield. Cast Lightning Crafter, In response (before the champion ability resolves), make a token of Lightning Crafter with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, exile Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker with the token's champion ability, then tap Lightning Crafter to deal 3 damage to itself and bring back Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker for infinite creatures and Purphoros, God of the Forge triggers

2. Purphoros, God of the Forge + Dualcaster Mage + either Heat Shimmer or Twinflame
