I built this deck as soon as that Dominaria leak dropped. I love Jodah, have always wanted to see him in card form, and now I've got him.

I keep a normal, nonfoil copy at the front of my deckbox, protecting my prerelease foil of him, which protects my Russian prerelease foil of him. Fun!

I finally made the call when Expropriate spiked that this deck is going to be my big dumb fun deck, and because of that I decided I'd add two appropriate silver bordered cards. Who/What/Where/When/Why is fun and I don't care because it's fun, and Urza is Jodah's ancestor and an Urza 'walker in WUBRG.

Grozoth has major, disgusting synergy with the Fist of Suns effect. I used to run Beacon of Tomorrows, but the current version runs no broken cycles, and I'm not really super interested in digging up a Nexus of Fate for it's replacement. I can just run more cycles this way!

Last Stand is just cool, and combos nicely with Prismatic Omen for tons of value.

The Volvers and Masters are in the list just because I've loved them since I was a kid, and not only do I get to finally play with my favorite lore character in Magic history, I get to play big dumb cards in a big dumb way!

Adding the Avatars, the missing Myojin, and the Forces because also cool big cards!

Legacy Weapon is WUBRG at it's finest, so of course it's in.

Reflecting Mirror is Jodah's magical mirror from the story, and is a big part of his background. Not including it, along with the disappointing piece of Mana fixing that is School of the Unseen where he taught would feel cheaty, like not putting Jaya Ballard, Task Mage in a Mairsil the Pretender deck.

The deck can sometimes have openers that cheat out Omniscience on turn 5, and sometimes you cast 4 mana 3/3s trying to not die/have something on the board. I had wished for Jodah to be more of the "Spellshaper" kind of legendary creature, but I'll play with what I've got no matter what.
