I've never played a deck that uses the graveyard as a resource, so I figured I might try it.So the deck is a little confused right now. I can't decide where I want to take it. I have a Varolz, the Scar-Striped deck in it, I have a lot of sacrifice outlets for Savra, Queen of the Golgari, and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord could also be good generals for this deck.

Overall the deck revolves around Birthing Pod, and other ways of getting value for sending creatures to the graveyard. Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, and Scavenging Ooze benefit greatly from the graveyard.

There are several tutor effects such as Demonic Tutor, and Rune-Scarred Demon. and there is an infinite combo with Sanguine Bond, and Exquisite Blood. I'm not too fond of infinite combo's, especially in EDH, so I'm keeping it to just one.

I think the best turn one plays are Dark Ritual into Burnished Hart or Vampire Nighthawk
