This is my pride and joy deck. When I played Magic in the early 2000s, I was a white control player. Finding out about Commander made me want to build a control deck in white. After looking through my cards, I found red to be a nice pairing and made this deck.

The main point is to balance the game for everyone involved. You will be targeted, as everything you do has a effect on everyone playing. This allows for newer players to get a better feel for their deck, as more turns are taken and also gives them a chance to win, since everyone is worried about you.

Many of the cards with effects also have a second or even third card that is close to the same, so it is hard to remove the control you have on the battlefield.

The deck originally didn't have a good win condition in it, but with Iroas as the commander, you can now wipe the field of creatures and attack as you have many enchantments and artifacts to keep devotion.

Some combos that can happen in the game:

Legion's Initiative + any board wipe: Exile your creatures and blow up the field, your creatures come back at beginning of next combat

Desolation Giant vs reanimate deck: If he is in your graveyard and they gain control of all creatures in graveyards, they then are all destroyed
