Balaam__ on Griffins for a True Griffin

Didn’t see this mentioned in the comments, so I figure I’d chime in. First, deck looks great overall. Good job picking relevant cards that support the theme. That being said, I don’t see much value in Terramorphic Expanse other than possibly for deck thinning (?). I’d cut the playset and either just bump up the basic Plains (a couple Flagstones of Trokair wouldn’t hurt) or else opt for some removal in the form of Path to Exile or Swords to Plowshares. Even swapping some basic Plains out for their snow-covered equivalents and running a set of On Thin Ice would do the trick; I’m sure Tethered Griffin and Griffin Dreamfinder endorse this.

I really like what's going on with this deck!
It's hard to tell how everything will run without play testing, so sorry if any of the suggestions I have aren't relevant.

The ramp is set up nicely.
For the mana side of things: If you do end up changing your creature base a bit, I think swapping out a mana generator and the Ulvenwald Tracker (without capitalizing on clues via other cards, or even artifacts being out, I don't think investigate is worth it) for a Cryptolith Rite would give you some wiggle room to throw in other creatures.
For the draw side of things: I would be careful about too much ramp happening, since most of the enchantresses are mandatory draw. You might play it and find it necessary to cut one or two. Alternatively, adding in some more insurance beyond reliquary tower could help, such as Thought Vessel, Library of Leng, Venser's Journal, or Spellbook. If you find you want even more draw to happen, Alhammarret's Archive might have some nice potential with your setup.
Another search option if you find you need to be more responsive is Plea for Guidance.
I think any enchantress that runs green should have a Herald of the Pantheon.

You also might need a few more things to discourage/respond to board wipes (something like Fracturing Gust, which actually might be worth you using yourself, depending). I've always liked Karmic Justice, though having a Replenish handy is also helpful.

If you're feeling gutsy, Vernal Equinox would probably benefit you most, and something like Horn of Greed could maximize your ramp from both sides.

I think adding a few more creatures and cutting some other cards out would make the deck the right amount of aggressive, especially with as low of an average cmc as you're running for EDH (which I respect haha, I struggle getting it that low). If you do, putting in more auras and adding Greater Auramancy could also make your deck more threatening. It depends on how you want to win: it's easy enough to pillow fort with enchantments and hold out - alternatively, fast aggro can also be super powerful in enchantress. Regardless, I think Rancor is a must-have.
Some creatures to consider: Archetype of Courage, Heliod, God of the Sun, God-Favored General, Sigarda, Host of Herons, Ajani's Chosen, Harvestguard Alseids, Humbler of Mortals, Celestial Ancient, Custodi Squire, Tethered Griffin, Yavimaya Enchantress, Gaddock Teeg and Krond the Dawn-Clad. Speaking of Krond, he might be a good alternative to Dramoka, depending on what type of control you want.

If you're looking to cut anything, I'd be partial to starting with either: Dromoka's Command, Worldly Tutor, one of the exile enchantments, Wellspring, Oath of Ajani, and/or Abundant Growth.

Hope at least some of this helped! Happy deck-building!

If you like banding, you can run Defensive Formation since it's cheap, is a 1-drop, and gives everything on your side defensive banding. Sejiri Refuge is coastal plains but with a life gain attached. Cooperation gives you banding on an enchantment.

Instead of Griffin Sentinel or Armored Griffin, you could just run the 2/2 Diving Griffin that's a little better costed. Griffin Dreamfinder lets you recur enchantments, albeit sorta slowly.

Tethered Griffin would give you a much shorter mana curve, and Skyblinder Staff is pretty silly too.

I'm surprised not to see Misthollow Griffin since it'd use blue.

I love griffins, always good to see a fun deck built around them.

nevermind the Brave the Elements suggestion, i see that you're trying to trigger heroic on one creature more than saving a board of three or four of them

so for that reason i won't suggest the non-budget friendly Mother of Runes, even though she'd let you protect your jedi or support creatures with more regularity (and the Urza's Legacy version looks like mon mothma)

but... Tethered Griffin is a flying 1 drop that just needs one of the auras attached to it, so with ethereal armor or glaring aegis you get a 3/6 or 3/4 first strike flyer for 2....playset for them is $2

@DaringApprentice - Wow, thanks for all the suggestions! There was a lot to mull over. I thought about the other Theros gods when I was first putting this deck together, and they were some of the last cards I cut. It came down to Heliod, God of the Sun and Kruphix, God of Horizons working better within the deck. I'll have to revisit them now that I've played it a bunch though (cutting Soul Sculptor for sure, though I'd probably just add a land there). The artifacts for them are pretty awesome though. I definitely am leaning towards the Bow of Nylea and the Spear of Heliod.
For the others in that post, I like Sylvan Library (though it's a bit pricey $ wise), Stasis would be risky for me unless I re-outfitted to take full advantage of Derevi. Nature's Will is pretty funny; I don't remember coming across that one. I'm not sure how much I want to rely on my creatures, though. Aura Shards and Aura of Silence I never thought about putting in, mostly because I don't have too many issues destroying things if I go that route, and creatures, again, aren't something I end up utilizing very much. I like Stasis better than Rising Waters, but gotta appreciate older blue control. Darksteel Mutation will probably go in, as Song of the Dryads is one of my favorites, so doubling up would be nice. Oblivion Ring and Detention Sphere are good control options, but also limited in a sense.
For the second post, I like the Archetypes, and will probably put at least Archetype of Imagination in, even if more for a defensive use. Aegis of the Gods is a better Ivory Mask, so it's just negligence that's not in there now! Fountain Watch seemed overkill with the shroud I already have going - I had it in for a bit at the beginning while playtesting actually. Vernal Equinox scares me, but I also like the risk of using Hypergenesis, so why not? I'd be fine using the Tethered Griffin and it would make a great low cmc creature to have. Plea for Guidance is a must-have. It'll be going in for sure.
For your final, all of those are cool options, and ones I would definitely come back to if I go a more creature-focused route. By the way, Pemmin's Aura totally reminds me of Zephid's Embrace - I'm not sure which one I like better.

Some more enchantment-focused cards include Vernal Equinox (risky), Plea for Guidance, and Fountain Watch.

I would also recommend adding Terramorphic Expanse to your lands, and maybe including Aegis of the Gods. The Archetype of Courage, Archetype of Imagination, and Archetype of Endurance cards can also be fun.

For somewhat risky enchantment-based creatures, you could use Tethered Griffin, Auratog, or Endless Wurm. For the latter two, something like Rancor can combo well with the enchantment sacrifice.

NuMetal, I was very torn between Hopeful Eidolon and Nyxborn Shieldmate as my -drop enchantment creatures? I feel even though Tethered Griffin is definitely a turn two card, it's an ideal body for the Ethereal Armor because of both flying and has enough meat to survive early combat tricks until you can Flickering Ward it and attack face directly.

As for swapping Nyxborn Shieldmate for Hopeful Eidolon, Nyxborn Shieldmate's 1/2 for that's also an Enchantment is really good? That said, I'll definitely pick up some Hopeful Eidolon for sideboard, with the mono-white buffs (Crusade+Honor of the Pure), as I'm very likely undervaluing Lifelink (especially on a big creature).

Thanks for your suggestion!

I would strongly recommend Hopeful Eidolon!

It'll give you a much bigger lifegain compared to Nyx-Fleece Ram and you can even use it instead of Tethered Griffin.

Unlike the Griffin you can play it on turn 1 and attack on turn 2 after casting Ethereal Armor and another Enchantment to hit for 4 damage with lifelink. The most beautiful thing is starting with Hopeful Eidolon and 2 Ethereal Armor on your start hand. That translates to a 7/7 with lifelink attacking on turn 2!
