Bababad thanks for the suggestion! Last time I checked it had been a bit higher, but from what I can see it's perfectly in budget. Adding it now!

Pretty much. I opted to focus on useful, low-mana creature drops that had effects like Fleshbag Marauder and Filigree Familiar. This way it's easy to farm them into Varolz counters that can go and beat face. Things like Undertaker or Malevolent Awakening let you swap cards and creatures for ones you'd rather have to play again, and Ravaging Riftwurm's downside isn't a downside when you can slap its power on to varolz for GG1.

Oops! Good catch bushido_man96! I was doing some editing and had to take a card out because it got too expensive, must have not realized I had Deglamer in there already. It's fixed now!

Thanks bushido_man96!

Honestly the hardest part of these multicolor budget decks are picking the general-I try to find generals that are interesting, don't have a lot of established decks, and are cheap. With access to more than one color it's a little easier finding solid budget cards too.

Since you're in red and have a lot of damage, Thornbite Staff might be good to trigger Zirilian an extra time or two. Dangerous Wager is actually great card draw once you empty the rest of your hand(something not hard to do in EDH). Temple of the False God is pretty good too, and Tatsumasa, the Dragon's Fang gives you an equip and a way to spawn a dragon blocker at instant speed. I'm surprised at no Ryusei, the Falling Star- it might kill your general if you sac it but it's a cheap way to wipe an enemy field.

Exuberant Firestoker is a cheap mana rock that shocks people.

If you have dragons in your hand you'll enjoy Cryptic Gateway to cheat them out as well.

Crucible of Fire makes your dragons bigger, and Dragon Roost makes you more dragons. It's expensive but you're cheating your actual dragons in anyway, and you can use the tokens for Cryptic gateway

Dragonstorm might be too expensive considering the other ways you have to cheat out dragons but it's worth considering.

You don't have a lot of Instants/Sorceries which seems odd when you're in red but having more dragons is always worthwhile I suppose.

Either way looks like a fun deck to play!

Feedback and comments incoming Zillabrony13!

Anyway here is another of my hyper-budget, sub-15$ decks. This one is Selesnya dragons based around Dromoka, the Eternal. Every card in the deck has to be less than 0.30$(except the commander)

I'm looking for feedback, suggestions, comments, and of course, the ever desirable upvote. Just remember it is a budget deck!

Thanks Hi_diddly_ho_neighbor!

And yes it is tough, but it's part of the reason I tried to make these decks. I don't want to keep it just under 15$, I want each card to be well, super budget and cheap. I'm very much of the opinion that you can make fun, interesting decks without immediately jumping into the big kid budget pool:P Which generally means foregoing some options that would make more sense. That and forcing yourself outside the Sol Ring/Demonic Tutor in every deck mold is refreshing IMO.

Puppet Strings is in another budget deck I have on here and I somehow completely forgot about it, thank you!

What I went for with this deck was not so much just to punish with minor amounts of damage, but to add things like Fang Skulkin to make the ping damage into -1/-1 counters, or Witch's Mist, Gorgon's Head, Onyx Mage, and other deathtouch/wither/infect givers to give the pingers a way to kill with the lightest amount of damage. The goal is to ping all their creatures down, then whap them to death with Wauki or anything else really until they're dead.

I am a bit light on protection and recurr-and that's mostly just a budget restriction problem(sadly, Mask of Avacyn has been fluctuating, so I haven't been able to keep it in a lot of these decks). I've been toying about adding Endbringer's Revel since it's a cheaper($ wise at least) way to recur, since I can remove enemies so easily I might give it a try.

I like a lot of your suggestions, but almost all of them are too expensive for the deck's budget :(

Remember to upvote if you liked it though!

Instead of Shadowmage Infiltrator you could run Tormented Soul for a lot cheaper mana-wise.

Praetor's Grasp gives you a fun way to steal a good blue or black centerpiece from an opponent-at the worst it's another Sol Ring or utility.

Since you're playing to avoid being picked on early, you can skip a turn with Magosi, the Waterveil and use it to a get a second turn later when it matters more.

Dauthi Embrace is neat because you can make any creature essentially unblockable-or so that it can't block at a critical juncture. May be fun political wise to aid someone with a swing, or make it so a critical blocker isn't there...

Great deck!

I'm surprised you don't have Hero's Blade since it equips for free and makes Avacyn just a bit bigger-a 9/7 once flipped for free once played is neat, and you have a bunch of legendaries for it to equip to as well(I'd sub out O-Naginata TBH- you lose the trample, but Avacyn already has evasion.

Masterwork of Ingenuity, Semblance Anvil, and Prototype Portal would be really good too, since they'd let you double up(or in Prototype portal's case, as many as you can get out) on whatever equips you really liked. Skyblinder Staff is a bit doofy but is surprisingly good evasion for a flying commander, especially one with damage.

Daedalus19876 I know you just wanted upvotes but I put some suggestions and a comment in anyway :D

Here's mine, another in my hyper-budget series, this one is Rakdos colored. Every card except the general is <.30$ on TCGplayer, and the whole deck is less than 15$(not counting basic lands)

Always love budget decks!

You should check out Keeper of the Dead and Deglamer

Instead of Death Frenzy, you could run Infest or Biting Rain or Drown in Sorrow for a lower curve, though you lose the lifegain. Greenseeker is better than terramorphic for fetching lands, so is Silverglade Pathfinder.

Undertaker gives you more recur as well and lets you shuffle creatures in your graveyard to your hand. Hope you like the suggestions!

Thanks for the comments and upvotes Swheaty-pi! It's strange-I actually didn't set out to be a budget deck builder on TappedOut, and I play a ton of non-budget EDH decks that I'll eventually post on here. But I enjoy making these budget decks because so many people who would get into the format complain about cost, and TappedOut has a good editor for checking prices and displaying curve and such:p
