Ilharg has Razed Ravnica, now it is time for him to raze commander tables everywhere. This deck utilizes Ilharg, the Raze-Boar and extra attack cards like Aggravated Assault to bring out lots of big beaters and cards that do lots of damage thanks to entering the battlefield.

Mana

First off, these cards have a pretty high curve, so we need some cards to help combat these high costs. Ruby Medallion does exactly that. Mana Vault, Sol Ring, & card:Aracane Signet bring out lots more mana to use other than lands, While Extraplanar Lens & Gauntlet of Power double our land usage. Other card such as both Neheb, the Eternal & Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion give use open mana to use.

Card Draw

This deck takes a lot of cards from the hand regularly. This helps not keep an empty hand. the classic Wheel of Fortune along with many other wheels keep our hand count high, and are usually used with only 1 or 2 cards in hand, so its almost a free draw 7. A few other conditional card draw spells that require discard like Thrill of Possibility, Tormenting Voice, Faithless Looting etc. also get us to the cards we need.

Extra Attacks

Here we go! This is the bread and butter of the deck! It does this so well and quite regularly. We have a few one off extra attacks like Seize the Day & Relentless Assault. The main extra attack cards we want to get out are Combat Celebrant or Aggravated Assault. This is because Combat Celebrant goes infinte with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Aggravated Assault goes infinite with Neheb, the Eternal if you do at least 5 damage to your opponents.

Gotta Go Fast

These cards are haste enablers in the deck so you can use them in the extra combats and swing earlier with Ilharg. Hammer of Purphoros, Ogre Battledriver, & Lightning Greaves are usually the ones that get out before Ilharg. Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded and Sneak Attack are here because they give the other creatures haste, but they are more here to bring out a ton of creatures and hit for a ton of damage in one turn.

This is why your opponents can't have nice things, Josh!

Sorry to anyone named Josh, it's all for the bit. Alright, this category lumps together single target removal and board wipes. the removal in mono-red, not so great, so we get to use some colorless spells for both! Single target consists of Meteor Golem, Tibalt's Trickery, Chaos Warp, and Steel Hellkite, and lots of damage-based possible removal in Inferno Titan, Bogardan Hellkite, Spawn of Thraxes etc. The board wipes are also similar. Using Nevinyrral's Disk, All is Dust, Star of Extinction, Balefire Dragon, & Blasphemous Act to remove everyone's creatures so we can swing into an open board.

Protection

You gotta protect Ilharg, whether it be from spells or creatures, He is a key piece. So, we have Lightning Greaves, Rogue's Passage, Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep etc. to keep Ilharg from being removed. Sundial of the Infinite is very useful in protecting your cards as well. Some one could try to remove Ilharg before damage is dealt, so you end the turn.

ETBs

This is one of the main ways this deck can win, by abusing cards that deal damage when they enter the battlefield. One of the best interaction is any damage dealer on ETB like Fanatic of Mogis and Flameshadow Conjuring, Panharmonicon, and Conjurer's Closet. This is pretty magical Christmas land-esque, but any two of the last 3 and you're in business. at least 4 triggers from a damage dealer on entering the battlefield is so good and can easily win out of nowhere. Basically, really use those ETB triggers to your advantage.

Big Damage

This is the way the deck wins. Lots and lots of damage through combat or otherwise. any card in this category deals some amount of damage in some way. whether it be through ETB like Bogardan Hellkite, or through combat like card:Blighsteel Colossus, damage is damage and it works. Any card in here is close to enough to win with itself and Ilharg alone.

Miscellaneous

This category is for the really small interactions that exist in the deck that are pretty good.

There is the small copies sub-theme with ETB in Flameshadow Conjuring and Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker.

There are the 2 Sneak Attack cards to get more creatures out for more damage.

There is the small amount of recursion in Feldon of the Third Path to combat all of the discarding in wheels and sacrifices from the aforementioned Sneak Attack.

There is the ability to keep whatever creatures we brought out with Ilharg, the Raze-Boar, Sneak Attack, & Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded along with any tokens we made through Flameshadow Conjuring or Feldon of the Third Path with Conjurer's Closet & Sundial of the Infinite.

Strionic Resonator can double up Ilharg's triggers to get more creatures out

And lastly, there are 2 "alternate" wincon cards. I have definitely used Gamble to get Blightsteel Colossus and kill someone turn 5. So, as you might have guessed, Blightsteel Colossus offers a quicker way to win. This next card, I have never actually used to win. My opponents are never low enough when i have the card to win with it, but maybe you can do what I could not. Rolling Earthquake is a great way to just kill everyone at once!

Notes

So, that's the deck! Please let me know what you think! I am very open to feedback! This is also my absolute favorite deck, so anything to make the deck better!
