Here's my take on Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor. This deck is focused on ramping and animating lands to build a board state. There are a number of ways to reliably and permanently animate lands including Spike Tiller which also gives land creatures +1/+1 counters, Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Verdant Touch, Liege of the Tangle, and Sylvan Awakening.

many of the lands in this deck come with built in protection such as Darksteel Citadel, Cascading Cataracts, and Lotus Field. However there are plenty of cards in this deck that also grant other lands protection as well. Terra Eternal gives indestructible, Tomik, Distinguished Advokist gives a form of hexproof, and Sacred Ground keeps lands out of the graveyard while also activating landfall triggers. Ensuring that lands are protected from removal is especially important when running cards like Natural Emergence because your lands can easily be taken out by a boardwipe otherwise.

If this deck wasn't weird or janky enough, it also has the ability to create token copies of lands. Mirrorpool and Mimic Vat both have the ability to create permanent token copies of creatures which means that as long as a land is a creature you can create token copies of it. While these tokens don't enter as creatures they still trigger landfall and can be made into creatures pretty easily. additionally, red has the ability to create temporary copies of creatures with Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Twinflame, and Kindred Charge. these tokens don't stick around but if you use Selesnya Eulogist, Rootborn Defenses, Growing Ranks, Second Harvest, or Full Flowering you can get a copy that does stick around.
