Angels of the Multiverse project No.4 Innistrad

The goal of this project is to create a story themed deck that can still function decently at your commander game night tables, and provide a little story for you to tell anyone who might be interested if you or they really like a certain commander. It's also a good way to get someone interested in the lore of MTG.

Innistrad's Host of Goldnight. Gisela is one of the original 4 angel sisters. Gisela is charged with protecting the humans on Innistrad just like her sisters however she goes about this in a more hands on approach by having her and her flight slay the monsters and dragons that would cause danger to the people she aims to protect. Her flight is the largest and was also the most commonly seen amongst the humans as it was her and her flight that taught the Cathars and Thrabins how to fight and defend themselves. Prior to her death; caused by Bruna and Gisela mutating into a horrific amalgamation named Brisela, their life ended at the hand of their eldest sister Sigarda. Gisela and the Flight of Goldnight were associated with the sun. Once a year during the Harvest Moon season, the sun will not dip below the horizon for two full days, and during this time the moon isn't visible. Known as the Feast of Goldnight, this is the holiest day for the humans. Though Gisela had died, her sister Sigarda and the angels from the flight of Goldnight that hadn't died still uphold this tradition. The angels that still make up this flight are the most battle oriented among all the remaining flights, and still train the Cathars and Thrabins.
