Maga, Traitor to All, is all about Black Burn, yes burn. Cards such as Doubling Cube, Caged Sun, Gauntlet of Power, Crypt Ghast, Magus of the Coffers, Nirkana Revernant Cabal Coffers, Thespian Stage, and Nyxthos, Shrine of Nyx, all create crazy levels of Black Mana. Exile a Snow-covered Swamp with Extraplanar Lens and Maga reaps the benefits and others fall behind. Cast Maga turn 6-8 and the damage starts with the help of Panharmonicon double the "burn" damage and double the counters. Always prepared with a sack outlet, so next turn swing in for commander damage then sack and recast for even more damage.

The few other supporting creatures are there for the explicit means of protecting me and my field until its time for Maga!
