This is a deck I designed full of synergy and combo's that can surprise an enemy with sudden mutilation with plenty of Human centred ETB effects and Angel of Glory's Rise.

One method of play is as follows ---Early game the idea is to try to fetch Forbid, Bubble Matrix + Palisade Giant using a variety of methods like tutors or transmutation. This should provide some defence early on versus damaging attacks on your creatures and yourself with the reusable counterspell, preferring to use its buyback whenever possible by discarding humans into the graveyard and or sorceries and instants as a second choice.

Mid-game you can then bring out the commander merieke and use a variety of untap methods to mutilate the opponents creature base whilst trying to stock more humans into the graveyard. Other defenses like the leviathan may come to hand, accellerating a Merieke Ri Berit + Pemmin's Aura combo.

Late game you can fill the battlefield with a wealth of Humans by using one of many methods of getting the Angel of Glory's Rise into play and watch as the majority of the graveyard returns to play also.Then, playing and bouncing Goldnight Redeemer with multiple use of Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability will often wipe all your opponents in one turn with 26 life gain leading into 78 life loss for all opponents. The added bonus is that not many methods can prevent or redirect the life loss mechanic --> Safe Passage etc will fail miserably.

Still, thats only one path through the game you can take and many other combinations in this deck can provide plenty of other surprising opportunities. A simple Darksteel Mutation will often nullify the opposing commander.

Being new to EDH I wanted to ask the following...With the card limit, are their any glaring mistakes to this build?ETB with re-animation engines like this -- do they fare well in general?What can I improve on without spending oodles on singles?
