This is my first try at a spell-slinger deck, so there are probably some holes in its strategy, or possibly it reads as a little basic in terms of Izzet commander decks, but hey, you gotta start somewhere right!

This deck wants to get a lot of value from guys like Archmage Emeritus and Baral, Chief of Compliance and sling a bunch of instants and sorceries.

Balmor, Battlemage Captain wants some heavy hitters on the field like Niv-Mizzet, Parun or Octavia, Living Thesis to end the game with big trample damage.
