The point is to make use of milling cards to reduce opponents options and then bringing their creature's back to be used against them. N'ghathrod empowers the other horrors with ability to take from my opponents graveyards and as I take those creatures, Maskwood Nexus allows for all incoming creatures I take to also be horrors to also benefit from N'ghathrod. Most spells are focused around forcing more cards into my opponents graveyard this plays to my creatures advantage as they either have power/toughness associated to opponent graveyards or abilities
