Three mana to bring a guy back is a little hefty, but if you're really looking for options you can run guys with Cycling (or Landcycling) to redirect your card advantage into something else. Deadshot Minotaur is a soft piece of removal and is easy to cycle at one hybrid mana. Undead Gladiator improves your card filtering by letting you trade other cards for him while you're at it. (Anger, anyone?) Igneous Pouncer and Valley Rannet let you grab shocklands or other nonbasics like Dryad Arbor or Witch's Cottage. Some critters tack an extra ability onto their being cycled, such as Jund Sojourners, Sanctuary Smasher and Void Beckoner - giving you a mana-intensive but reliable option each turn if you have nothing else to bring back.
Perhaps the best example is Krosan Tusker, who grabs you another card and a land when you cycle him, putting you up another card each time. Shefet Monitor requires even more mana but puts the land right into play untapped, giving you a reliable way to ramp and draw cards during a standstill.

Here's my take on what to cut:
-
Elvish Aberration: 6 mana is a lot just to ramp. Cycling is nice, but doesn't directly Ramp.
-
Ghitu Chronicler: Again, expensive. There are much better things to do with our 6-mana
-
Krosan Tusker: Same as before. Expensive for what it is, doesn't directly ramp.
-
Magus of the Candelabra: Unless we can double mana somehow, doesn't actually ramp.
-
Nessian Demolok: Can be useful, but I've found tribute usually gets paid with these cards since creatures are pretty easy to deal with.
-
Oblivion Sower: Fun card, but just doesn't fit the deck
-
Treasonous Ogre: Just seems really slow to me
-
Valley Rannet: Same reasons as the tusker
-
Void Attendant: Again, just doesn't fit with the deck
-
Vessel of Volatility: Slow, and I honestly prefer my ramp to be repeatable
-
Land. I usually stick to around 36, I'd go down to there and test to see if it works out all right (Maybe 1 or 2 more since you seem to have a good amount of lands that can be sacrificed).
-
Chromatic Lantern: Pretty much useless in a 2-color deck. Here it's basically an Arcane Signet, but more expensive.
-
The Chain Veil: Not exactly useful here. You have some Planeswalkers, but not enough to really make it worth it.
-
Blood Feud: Too expensive for what it does. Green has a lot cheaper options
-
Burning Inquiry: Not a fan. Cathartic Reunion, Thrill of Possibility, Faithless Looting, etc. are all better in my opinion.
-
Fight with Fire: If you're going to scale up, might as well go with Banefire, Comet Storm, Crater's Claws, etc.
-
Processor Assault: Good value for your mana, but how often does exile come up in your games?
-
Sweltering Suns: Anger of the Gods is better in my opinion.
-
Volcanic Vision: Has potential, but I'm not really seeing a whole lot of spells that make it great.
-
Yawning Fissure: Doesn't fit strategy of the deck
-
Fiery Fall: Expensive.
-
Chandra, Flamecaller: Just meh in my opinion. Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh  Flip and Chandra, Torch of Defiance seem like better alternatives.
These are just my thoughts, hope it helped!
(Also, Pyromancer's Goggles seems good here.)

Thanks for the suggestion! I added in an extra Valley Rannet, but I don't want a whole lot of 2-mana cyclers. On my own budget, I would buy the deck with some shock lands, but I want to keep this deck below $150 and the shock lands would make the deck a bit too expensive.

That's my suggestion, sometimes tutoring mana in decks like this can be super important for cycling. I would also replace some of the lands with actual dual named shock lands because Valley can Tutor those dual lands, which can save you from playing fetchlands.

Sorry didn't read that list carefully enough! :0S
There is also Kavu Lair, Dragon Mage as other card draw options.
Valley Rannet and Krosan Tusker are unusual, yet interesting choices. Early on they can be used to find land. But if Mayael turns them over with her ability, they can still be put into play as a creature.

Love it. Had to trim some just so it wasn't a huge card-dump.
Taurean Mauler - gets very big, and helps players learn to pay attention to triggers
Silklash Spider - anti-flyers
Valley Rannet - smooth land plays
Krosan Tusker - great value Hoard-Smelter Dragon - utility + big threat
Garruk's Packleader - excellent value with your creatures
Flametongue Kavu - ease of use + utility
Acidic Slime - ditto
Fires of Yavimaya - haste is clutch for you
Hull Breach - some much needed utility

Hey so I have been playing mayael for a while and have some ideas for you: Fauna Shaman (gives you something to use the too costly biggies for in your hand) then add Brawn, Anger, Genesis, for more tutor fodder. Also Sterling Grove + your Privileged Position, or Asceticism boom global shroud. Now for getting the biggies in cheap or even better free. Lurking Predators (nothing like top decking Godsire just cause they play anything. Lol) Hunting Grounds also always fun. And different Elvish Piper is called Norwood Priestess. Definitely try out both Warstorm Surge, and Where Ancients Tread free burn for doing what the deck does is kind of unbeatable. With those guys combo with Godsire, and Omnath, Locus of Rage If you have a Sensei's Divining Top nice to be able to draw to little thing while making sure there is something brutal to anima into play. Win condition for you Mayael's Aria you know it's not hard to hit twenty power with this deck, and can't ask to be more in theme More ideas with less explanation Spearbreaker Behemoth, Vagrant Plowbeasts, Sakura-Tribe Elder, Yavimaya Elder, Krosan Tusker, Valley Rannet, Eternal Dragon yeah I'm tired of typing all these brackets so I'm done for now.
