Deckling -

Hi, welcome to my profile page! If you're looking for my precon deck folders, they can be found here.

- I intend to leave my decks up as an archive. But have moved to Moxfield (Username: 2JTwojay). All new deck updates will happen there from now on. -

I've been playing Magic, since around the last Ice Age. Despite a hiatus after Plane Shift, a work buddy got me back cardflopping just as the Onslaught block wrapped up with Scourge. For better or worse, I haven't stopped since.

Becoming increasingly disinterested with conventional '64' constructed magic by around early 2011, I now almost exclusively play Commander/EDH. I value its diversity and game to game variance.

I also really enjoy drafting magic. So, I have assembled a few of my own cubes.

Particularly, this cube.

Primary Player Archetype: Timmy, Timmy, Power Gamer

Favoured Colour: Green

Favoured Guild: Simic

Favoured Shard/Clan: Naya

Favourite Tribes: Elves & Dragons

-

Favourite Creature: Forgotten Ancient

Favourite Legendary Creature: Ghave, Guru of Spores

Favourite Artifact: Soul Foundry

Favourite Enchantment: Cathars' Crusade (Or maybe Doubling Season)

Favourite Spell: Mirrorweave

Favourite Mechanic: Squirrellink - Earl of Squirrel

-

Favourite Planeswalker Character: Ajani Goldmane

Favourite Planeswalker Cardboard: Garruk Wildspeaker

Favourite Mythic Card: Avenger of Zendikar

Favourite Uncommon Card: Eternal Witness

Favourite Common Card: Llanowar Elves

-

Favourite Expansion: Invasion

Favourite Block: Ravnica

Favourite Plane Settings: Ikoria, Avishkar, Ixalan & Ravnica

Favourite Card Art: "Classic" Shivan Dragon

Favourite Personal Theme Deck: Nine Breaker

Favourite Card Combo:

It certainly is not Marath, Will of the Wild *f-etch* & R&D's Secret Lair. I mean it needs an unhinged card. Wizards certainly wouldn't keep making these errors, just to make you want to use Unhinged set cards. ...Would they?

-

Favourite Card Artists:

John Avon

Daren Bader

Melissa Benson

Michael Komarck

Steve Argyle

Rebecca Guay

Todd Lockwood

Wayne Reynolds

-

Favourite Gaming Magic Moment:

It involved (in draft) a beautifully played Pain's Reward, followed by a Hidetsugu's Second Rite as the finish. Leaving a harsh lesson in excessive greed.
